Other Activities
After we get the permission from our customers, we donate our customers’ nonexchangeable coins and paper bills. Our donation supports in these fields in UNICEF Japan.
We have an obligation to report our monthly trade of foreign currency in Japan. Above is a picture of the reports we submitted in this past 5 months. We have been filing it for the whole time since Dollar Euro Currency Exchange is established.
We try our best to update our knowledge of the law and crimes (modus operandi) to avoid any future illegal actions. The latest seminar we attended was about the change of the manual according to the amendment of the law. They enforce the new law on trading of foreign currencies this April, so we need to know the change of our duties due to new law.
We have been dealing with more than 4000 orders so far, and we never had any problems losing customers’ packages. We use Japan Post, which is trusted, as our deliverer. Below are pictures how packages are sent to customers. We put sealed mark on the back of the package, and we tape it over, so the package is secured.
We run every currency we get through counterfeit money detector, and use black light for further inspections. Moreover, we use Foreign Currency Guide, which is used for major banks, exchange business, and international trades in the world, in order to distinguish if the currency we deal with is usable and redeemable.
